WE’RE FOCUSED ON BOTH RECOVERY AND DISCOVERY.

Childrens Cancer Treatment

The unique design of CHAM was inspired by Carl Sagan.

He believed, as we do, that science and discovery will unlock the future for our children.

That’s why, at CHAM and our Albert Einstein College of Medicine, we are leading clinical trials that treat complex childhood diseases.

Our innovative research and clinical trials include:

  • Identifying breakthrough treatments for bone cancers in children
  • A new therapy to treat sickle cell disease in children
  • Pioneering a novel intravaginal ring for the prevention of HSV and HIV among women ages 18-30

Medical Innovations for Children

HISTORY OF FIRSTS:
SOME OF OUR BIGGEST ACHIEVEMENTS HAVE BEEN TINY.

At CHAM, no challenge has ever been too big, or too small.

For instance, we were one of the first children’s hospitals in the U.S. to perform kidney transplants.
